After spending a number of years sourcing and working closely with the manufacturer to produce this revolutionary new Mobile Fall Protection System for the European Market. Highworx are pleased to offer the X1240, X1250, and X1000 Mobile Fall Protection System. These versatile systems have undergone rigorous testing to be accredited with EN 795 – 2012 Class B certification. It offers multiple overhead anchor points for use anytime and anywhere. These units are designed for fall arrest, fall restraint and feature adjustable mast which can be positioned any where between 600cm/2ft and 10.7 metre/35ft. This versatility in height makes it ideal for operation in both working at height and confined space work!!!!
WORKING AT HEIGHTS
The main issue with the conventional weighted mobile man anchor was that personnel had to climb ladders and or walk on roof tops to erect these units and were therefore not secured until fully installed!, likewise working on sloped roofs with no secure anchorage only roof ladders or tie off to chimney stack, or ropes thrown from one side to the other to be secured, however this can be dangerous working close to an edge, or if not secured properly.
Erecting scaffolds and new build steel structures and, roofing systems also posed a problem as often there can be nothing to anchor to at all, particularly in new open sites. Air bags and netting systems can be used but can be labour intensive and time consuming, costly to store and transport.
MEWP and Cherry pickers often at times cannot reach into awkward areas or have restricted access and only allow the operatives to work safety within the enclosed caged area.
WORKING IN CONFINED SPACES
Confined space was another area of concern, as often suitable anchorage points may not be available. While Tripods and Portable Davit Systems solve some of these workplace scenarios quite well, there are areas where with no anchor point above or at floor level, or with the limited length of the Davit arm, giving only restricted limited use. Therefore, at times compliant and safe anchorage was not always available, until now!
